Sarah is a textile designer maker based in the North East of England. She graduated from her BA (Hons) in Textile & Surface Design in 2008 from which she found her passion for hand embroidery. Determined not to follow the norm, Sarah set herself up in business with local funding, support & networking she created a growing business initially creating individual designs & products for home wares, gift & special occasions.Whilst designing & selling her home & gift wares Sarah accomplished several achievements including an article feature in a local paper, winning a silver award in craft&design magazine’s Selected Award, & selling her work to galleries around the UK. After several requests to make wedding products she became conscious that the quality of her work & designs adapted well to wedding wares & she realised she had found her true passion, this would then take her down a different path she never realised was possible.Sarah has always prided herself in creating the very best quality design work & hand made products. As her enthusiasm & demand for her products grew she found that designing for her wedding wares collections meant she could take her embroidery skill to an even higher level than before. With Sarah’s ability to create fully personalised items this makes her product truly unique to anything else.
